(For puppies about 8 weeks - 8 months old) Held Saturdays At California Groomin' from 9:00 to 9:45am. Located in the Portola Plaza at 22744 Portola Dr. Salinas, Ca. 93908. Next session starts August 24 through September 28, 2019.

Course Description:

The bonding and playing with you and others - Socializing with other people and dogs - Introducing your puppy to new surroundings, sights("look"), sounds, and smells - Beginning oral hygiene - Grooming - Potty training - Crate training - The beginning stages of many of the  commands listed in the OB1 class - Being a responsible pet owner- upon completion of these six classes, you will receive your papers for the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program.

These classes are not designed for reactive or overly shy dogs. Signs of a reactive dog are growling, excessive barking, lunging at, and mounting other dogs. Signs of an overly shy dog are excessive cowering, hiding, eliminating while being approached, and growling. Please contact Holly for individual training if you have dogs with these characteristics.

What to bring:

A six foot leash, soft and easy - to - swallow treats, a treat bag or apron, puppies favorite toy, a finger tooth brush, doggie tooth paste, poop bags, and a grooming comb or brush.. These items can be purchased at Collier Feed & Supply prior to class.


Please pay, register, sign the online waiver, and send copies to show that puppies have had at least 1st DHLP vaccinations to guarantee your spot in class.
